tragic manageesh

i decided to make manageesh bil-zaatar (thyme pizza) and failed. miserably. i mixed in whole wheat flour with water, 1 spoon of vegetable oil, and baking soda, and then flattened the dough into circles and added the thyme mixed with olive oil on top and baked them. just did not taste good. dry and boring and flat. so, maybe yeast dough is essential for thyme pizza baladi style. i will try again though. i am not a natural baker, not like my sister, i know that. i will try again.
